Internship Opportunities and I.T. School-to-Work Program
ADM offers unique opportunities to students who are interested in gaining exposure to real business situations.  Internships and work programs are paid positions, which offer the chance for students to apply their I.T. or business knowledge in a business setting and experience new challenges.

The High School Work Program provides a positive experience and often helps develop future career interests. This program is a partnership between state certified local schools and ADM. Strong performers are encouraged to pursue future College-to-Work opportunities upon graduation.

The College-to-Work positions are available year-round in several areas, including client server development, access management, web development, mainframe/COBOL development, help desk, software/hardware installation and troubleshooting. Since both technical and business related opportunities are available, students do not necessarily have to be enrolled in computer-related courses.  Any college student enrolled in a Bachelor or Associate program is eligible to apply for opportunities between their freshman and senior year or during graduate school.  Strong performers are encouraged to pursue future Corporate Internship opportunities when eligible to do so.

The ADM Corporate Internship program is a 12-week intensive summer experience that promotes the professional development of students while providing a training ground for potential future employees – a pipeline for entry-level full time talent. The interns learn about ADM, participate in teambuilding activities and gain a better understanding of what the program has to offer. In addition to experiencing real-world responsibilities, we focus on the interns’ professional growth through a progressive development series and multiple opportunities to learn about the company and the agriculture industry. Typical candidates have completed four full semesters of coursework and major in I.T., C.I.S., Computer Science, Communications, Math or other business related fields.  All ADM I.T. internships include hands-on training and can be arranged around students’ college class schedules.
