ADM Summer Internship Program

ADM is committed to providing opportunities, training and benefits that exceed expectations, and we hope you’ll agree that our Summer Intern Program does just that!

The program is coordinated through our corporate headquarters in Decatur, Illinois. However, students have the opportunity to make their mark in a variety of locations across the country, with an emphasis on the U.S. Midwest. Our program promotes the professional development of students while providing a training ground for potential future employees -- our most important pipeline for full-time talent.

The 11-week experience kicks off with orientation in May where interns learn about ADM, participate in activities to help them grow professionally and personally, and gain a better understanding of what the program has to offer. Interns experience real-world responsibilities and have multiple opportunities to learn about the company and the agriculture industry.

Internship requirements vary from one department or job type to another, but all must provide proof of their eligibility to work in the U.S., and pass a drug screen and background check. Students are responsible for providing their own means of transportation.

These are paid internships, but health benefits are not included. Standard costs for relocating to and from an assigned location are reimbursed.

ADM understands that big decisions lie ahead. We are confident our Summer Intern Program is a place where you can make sure your career gets off to the right start.
