Requirements
Candidates must have a Bachelor of Science degree, and some positions require post-doctoral research degrees.
Chemistry Internship
During our intensive 12-week program, chemistry interns will be engaged in biofuels and/or biochemicals. Potential assignments could include catalysis research, biochemicals process chemistry and biofuels process chemistry.
Qualifications
To be considered for an opportunity, students must meet the following criteria:
- Ability to conduct laboratory synthesis and purification of biomass derived chemicals,
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams to solve complex problems,
- Possess a solid foundation in organic and analytical chemistry (sophomore level or equivalent), ans
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred.
