Senior Mechanic
Responsibilities include supervising and evaluating mechanics working at a specific harbor service location, and supervising the maintenance and repair of all boats, cranes, machinery and equipment used there. The senior mechanic schedules and participates in preventative maintenance, dry dockings, overhauls and repairs to equipment and keeps records of such. The senior mechanic is also responsible for creating a winter maintenance list, maintaining a spare parts inventory and providing recommendations on any upgrades to existing equipment.
Lead Mechanic
Responsibilities of this position include the maintenance and repairs of all boats, cranes, machinery and equipment at an ARTCO harbor service. The lead mechanic performs preventative maintenance and repairs, and coordinates with the senior mechanic to schedule major repairs, overhauls and dry dockings. The lead mechanic supervises and evaluates all other mechanics at that location. He or she is also involved in purchasing spare parts and maintaining an inventory of them.
Mechanic
Responsibilities of this position include preventative maintenance and repairs of boats, cranes, machinery and equipment as directed by the lead mechanic.
Requirements
A rotating schedule is required to ensure coverage on weekends, and travel to other locations may be required.
