Lead Welder
Responsibilities of this position include the oversight of welders on a team project and any barge or boat repair welding. This person oversees and participates in projects under direction of the dry dock supervisor.
Requirements
Safe and efficient operation of all equipment including dry docks, cranes, air compressors and welding machines is required in this position.
Welder
Responsibilities of this position include barge and boat repair welding, fitting and various other repairs as directed by lead personnel.
Requirements
A weld test is required. It consists of using a 6011 stick or rod to perform a lap and butt weld in both overhead and vertical positions.
