ADM is pleased to recognize our extraordinary team of employees at the Enid milling facility for earning the Company’s most significant operational award for the second time. The team’s total commitment to co-workers’ safety, producing high-quality ADM products and services, and promoting positive stewardship of the environment has set an example for ADM facilities around the world.
“This team knows the importance of focusing on these priorities,” said plant manager Kelvin Woods. “They are committed to following safety rules—taking ownership for themselves and looking out for each other. They want to make sure that every coworker goes home safe, every day.”
Congratulations to the Enid milling team for continuing to achieve the standard of excellence required to receive this exceptional award.
The Enid mill was constructed in 1928 and ADM has operated it since 1992 when it acquired ownership from the Pillsbury Company. The 70 employees at this mill grind wheat into bread flour and all-purpose flour for shipment to bakeries and retail stores. The flour is used in cakes, pie crusts, breading, snack cakes, breads and tortillas.
