ADM is pleased to recognize our extraordinary team of employees at the Medicine Hat milling facility for earning the Company’s most significant operational award. The team’s total commitment to ensuring co-workers’ safety, producing high-quality ADM products and services, and promoting positive stewardship of the environment has set an example for ADM facilities around the world.
Recognition for the team’s years of outstanding performance in these fundamental areas has energized employees to continue to do more. “We have worked very hard to protect the integrity of the products we produce while remaining focused on the safety of our colleagues,” said plant manager Rick Flaig. “We’re very proud of what we have achieved—but earning the award once isn’t enough for us. Our goal now is to do everything we can to earn it every year.”
Congratulations to the Medicine Hat Agri-Industries milling team for achieving the standard of excellence required to receive this exceptional award.
The ADM Agri-Industries mill employs nearly 50 workers at the only flour mill remaining in Medicine Hat. The mill began operations in 1912 and grinds Hard Spring Wheat into flour for bakeries and retail stores. Today the mill also produces animal feed for local livestock producers.
