As we begin a new school year, ADM is proud to congratulate the organizations, schools, parents and students who have contributed to powerful educational accomplishments in Decatur and the Central Illinois area:
• A 14.6 percent increase in graduates for Decatur public high schools over the past three years
• Over $5 million in college scholarships given to 2010 graduates of all Macon County high schools combined
• A 45% increase in Kindergarten Camp participation since 2008
• The participation of over 432 children in the Decatur Public Library’s summer reading program, with over 24,000 books checked out in June
In recognition of these accomplishments and to support
the continued momentum of these great efforts, ADM has
contributed $1.3 million to support schools and education
initiatives in Macon County and throughout Central Illinois.
We applaud those who are making it possible for our students
to accomplish great things. And we’re proud to join them in their
commitment to making Central Illinois a great place to live, work
and go to school.
