Victoria F. Haynes joined ADM’s board of directors in November 2007 and serves as a member of its audit committee.
Haynes is president of RTI International, one of the world’s leading research institutes. The North Carolina-based organization offers research and technical expertise to governments and businesses in more than 40 countries, in areas such as health and pharmaceuticals, education and training, surveys and statistics, technology, international development, economic and social policy, energy and the environment, and laboratory and chemistry services. She has been in her current position since 1999.
Before joining RTI, Haynes held a number of executive leadership roles at the Goodrich Corporation, including vice president of research and development, chief technical officer and vice president of advanced technology.
Haynes began her career at Monsanto Company in 1977 and served in several senior management positions during her 15-year tenure, including director of technology in the plastics division.
Haynes is a member of the board of directors of Nucor Corporation, PPG Industries, Inc. and Ziptronix, Inc. She holds a doctoral degree in physical/organic chemistry from Boston University, a master's degree in college teaching from Boston University, and a bachelor's degree in chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley.
