Corn Co-Products

ADM is a leading producer of livestock feed ingredients. From grain selection to processing, packaging and delivery, we control every step to ensure a consistent, quality product.

At ADM, we use two processes to produce feed ingredients from corn:  dry milling and wet milling. Corn co-products, the feed products made during these processes, are an excellent feed source for livestock.

In the dry milling process, the entire corn kernel is ground and the starch is fermented into alcohol. The remaining part of the corn is used in co-products that include:

- Distillers dried grains with solubles (DDGS)
- Wet distillers grains (WDGS) and modified wet distillers grains (MWDGS)

In the wet milling process, corn is soaked in a solution to soften the kernel in order to facilitate the separation of the various component parts. Co-products include:

- Corn gluten meal
- Corn gluten feed
- Golden Gluten™ wet corn gluten feed
- Corn germ meal
- Condensed fermented corn extractives (steepwater)
- Corn oil
