Industrial Starches

ADM offers the paper, construction, textile and aviation industries starches from biodegradable, renewable resources. Our wheat- and corn-based starches are high-quality, non-toxic and cover a wide range of applications.

They add dry strength to papermaking systems, seal gypsum wallboard edges, purify mining ores and more. ADM technical experts work with customers to develop specific applications for our industrial wheat and corn starch products.

ADM’s EnviroStrip® dry-stripping products are an alternative to plastic and chemical paint-stripping solvents. They are used for commercial, private and military aircraft.

This special line of abrasives is made from wheat starch and can air blast paint and coatings from aircraft parts and other surfaces, removing them with minimal effect on the surfaces beneath the coating or paint. Customers can maximize time and cost efficiency while using this product.
