As a leading agricultural processor, ADM recognizes the importance of taking steps to lessen our environmental impact. As in past years, our efforts in 2010 were focused in the areas of energy, emissions reductions, waste-management, carbon sequestration and water-use efficiency.
At the same time, we continued to contribute to global environmental improvement by producing today’s renewable fuels, broadening our portfolio of renewable chemicals, and advancing research into products and technologies with the potential to lower industrial carbon emissions and reduce the world’s reliance on petroleum. |
