In France, ADM operates a refinery for specialty fats and oils in Arras, the capital of Pas-de-Calais in northern France. At this facility, about 100 employees work to convert crude sunflower seed, rapeseed, cottonseed, olive and corn oil into refined oils.
ADM engineers and chemists help customers create products for food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic applications. Our blends of oils and other additives are used for dairy products, sauces and marinades, and pastry fillings.
We also produce oil blends for chewing gum, creams and shea butter-based products. ADM products made in France are exported around the world, particularly to markets in Europe and Asia.
