In 2007, ADM moved its European headquarters and commercial trading operations to Rolle, Switzerland, between Geneva and Lausanne. The Rolle office employs nearly 100 people who are responsible for trading and purchasing such crops as rapeseed, sunflower, palm and soy, as well as financing, marketing and commercial activities across the Company’s various business units. Through our Rolle offices, ADM oversees 44 facilities in 10 countries extending from Ghana to the Ukraine, and from the United Kingdom to Poland.
ADM is one of the world’s leaders in cocoa processing, and Switzerland, where many of our key customers are located, is a vitally important market for the cocoa powders, cocoa butters, cocoa liquors and chocolates we produce and sell to food-industry customers worldwide.
