The ADM Way creates a common understanding for our employees and for those who interact with us, in the U.S. and around the world. It explains who we are as a company, what we want to be in the future and what we will do to achieve that aim. The ADM Way also expresses what we value, what we focus on and what is important to us.
Through ADM Cares, our social investment program, ADM targets one percent of pretax earnings to investments that support safe, responsible and environmentally sound agricultural practices. At the local level, we support educational initiatives for children and young adults and other programs that build vibrant communities. ADM employees, meanwhile, direct a substantial portion of their social investment and volunteer activity through our Colleague Giving Council, which coordinates our in-kind food donations and community volunteer program.
