Pierre Dufour joined ADM’s board of directors in May 2010 and serves on the board’s audit and compensation/succession committees.
Dufour is a member of the board of directors of Paris-based Air Liquide Group, the world leader in gases for industry, health care and environmental applications. He joined Air Liquide in 1997 and served in a number of senior executive roles there, including as senior executive vice president.
Prior to joining Air Liquide Group, Dufour was executive vice president of SNC-LAVALIN, Inc., a Montreal-based engineering contractor. He began his career with SNC-LAVALIN in 1976.
Dufour serves on the board of directors of National Grid PLC. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the École Polytechnique Montréal, a master’s degree in civil engineering from Stanford University, and an honorary doctorate from the University of Montreal.
