11/15/2011
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn., Nov. 16, 2011 – Archer Daniels Midland Company (NYSE: ADM) has donated $3,000 to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Chattanooga, which offers real estate development, mortgage servicing, homeowner education and home construction for families in need. The ADM donation will go toward materials to build homes.

“ADM strives to make a positive difference in the communities where we live and work, and we are proud to present this donation to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Chattanooga, where families contribute 350 hours of sweat equity on other families’ homes, and then again on their own home,” said Quincy Smith, terminal manager, ADM Trucking Inc.

The check was presented to Pete Palmer, Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Chattanooga, by Smith during a check presentation ceremony held November 14 at Habitat for Humanity.

The donation was given through ADM Cares.
