ADM Donates $3,000 to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Chattanooga
“ADM strives to make a positive difference in the communities where we live and work, and we are proud to present this donation to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Chattanooga, where families contribute 350 hours of sweat equity on other families’ homes, and then again on their own home,” said Quincy Smith, terminal manager, ADM Trucking Inc.
The check was presented to Pete Palmer, Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Chattanooga, by Smith during a check presentation ceremony held November 14 at Habitat for Humanity.
The donation was given through ADM Cares. ADM Cares is a social investment program that directs funds to initiatives and organizations that drive meaningful social, economic and environmental progress worldwide. The program comprises three distinct focus areas: supporting the responsible development of agriculture, improving the quality of life in ADM communities and fostering employee giving and volunteer activities.
ADM Trucking provides transportation services to ADM milling and sweetener facilities in the Chattanooga and Cleveland, Tenn., area.
