Vikram Luthar is senior vice president and president of Archer Daniels Midland Company’s Health & Wellness business. In that position, he leads the company’s efforts to become a leading solutions provider for customers seeking to meet the needs of increasingly health-conscious consumers in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical and personal care industries, including the growing personalized nutrition market. Luthar is a member of the company’s Executive Council.
Luthar has served in a variety of positions since joining ADM in 2004 as vice president and treasurer. Prior to his current role, he was president, Enzymes, and chief financial officer for the company’s Corn Processing business unit. Before that, he served as senior vice president, Strategy, and prior to that as ADM’s group vice president, Finance, with oversight of ADM’s global treasury, credit, business planning and development as well as M&A functions.
Before coming to ADM, Luthar spent 11 years with General Motors Co., serving in various treasury and corporate finance positions in the United States and Asia.
Luthar holds a bachelor’s of technology in aerospace engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
