European Food Banks Federation and ADM Partner to Strengthen Food System Resilience Across Europe
Rolle, Switzerland – ADM announced the continuation of its partnership with the European Food Banks Federation (FEBA) through an ADM Cares grant, reinforcing its commitment to supporting food security and reducing food waste across Europe.
The collaboration helps national food bank organizations recover surplus food and redistribute it to charities, providing essential nutrition to people in need. The partnership supports food banks in Hungary, Portugal, Belgium, Poland, Serbia, and the Czech Republic - countries where ADM has an active presence and works closely with local communities.
"Thanks to ADM's donation, we were able to cover part of the key costs of running the warehouse, allowing us to focus our energy on what we are here to do, saving food and delivering it to people in need. We are grateful to have ADM as our partner," said Mr. Aleš Slavíček, chairman of the Czech Food Bank's Federation.

2025 Impact Highlights
In 2025, FEBA's partnership with ADM enabled food banks across Europe to provide over 500,000 meals to those in need, indirectly support 1+ million people across multiple countries and strengthen hundreds of partner organizations.
Beyond food recovery, ADM's support contributed to critical advancements in infrastructure, logistics, and digital innovation:
• Infrastructure upgrades: New storage capacity and facility improvements in Czech Republic and Hungary shortened logistics routes and preserved short shelf-life products.
• Enhanced logistics: Investments in transport and warehouse systems enabled faster collections and deliveries, increasing the volume of fresh produce redistributed each month. Over 50 tonnes of fresh fruit and vegetables were redistributed monthly in Serbia and 2.6 million kg handled through upgraded warehouse systems in Hungary.
• Digital transformation: ADM supported the development of a nationwide digital platform in Poland that streamlines food distribution under the European Funds for the Food Aid Programme.
"I am raising my children alone, and fresh food is often the first thing we have to cut. Thanks to the deliveries through our local organization, my kids now eat fruit and vegetables every day. This helps bring dignity, not just food," shared Milica B., a program beneficiary in Serbia.
