Jeff Rowe

Jeff Rowe is ADM’s executive vice president and chief operating officer. In this role, he oversees the company’s three business units, four regions, Global Operations, R&D and Sustainability functions. He is a member of ADM’s Executive Council. 

Rowe most recently served as CEO of Syngenta Group, where he led efforts to advance sustainable farming and AI-powered innovation, helping drive modern, tailored solutions for stakeholders worldwide.  Prior to Syngenta, he spent more than two decades at DuPont Pioneer in executive leadership roles spanning strategic planning, biotech affairs and regulatory, legal and supply management.  

Rowe is also a fifth-generation farmer, helping to run his family’s operation in Illinois. The farm employs regenerative agriculture practices to reduce environmental impact and improve sustainability, productivity and profitability. 

Rowe holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Business from Iowa State University, a Juris Doctorate from Drake Law School and a TRIUM Global Executive MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business, the London School of Economics and HEC Paris.
