ADM Joins Industry Effort to Scale Regenerative Agriculture
As weather volatility and environmental pressures reshape agriculture, companies across the food value chain are working to help farmers build more resilient production systems. ADM is supporting that effort by helping shape the Sustainable Agriculture Initiative (SAI) Platform's Regenerating Together Programme (RTP), an outcomes-based framework designed to advance regenerative agriculture across diverse crops, regions and farming systems.
ADM is among the leading food and agriculture companies backing the RTP, which aims to bring greater consistency and accountability to regenerative agriculture efforts across the food and beverage industry. The framework establishes a shared set of principles and outcomes to support the adoption of regenerative agriculture practices, while recognizing that regenerative agriculture is not a one-size-fits-all approach. This flexibility enables organizations to work with farmers in ways that reflect local growing conditions while aligning around common goals for greater transparency, accountability and scalability.
Developed with input from farmers, agronomists, NGOs, academics and industry leaders, the RTP has been tested through more than 35 pilot projects spanning 25 countries and 23 production systems. These pilots demonstrated that regenerative agriculture can be guided by a common process while adapting to different geographies, crops and farming systems. These real-world learnings help ensure the programme delivers measurable outcomes while remaining adaptable to the needs of farmers.

ADM's participation in the RTP builds on its re:generations™ program, which supports farmers as they adopt or continue regenerative agriculture practices that improve soil health, strengthen resilience and reduce environmental impacts. Through re:generations™, ADM works directly with growers to implement practices such as cover crops, reduced tillage and nutrient management, helping drive measurable outcomes across the supply chain. By contributing to industry-wide efforts like RTP, ADM helps build a more consistent and scalable approach to regenerative agriculture – one that partners with farmers, strengthens agricultural communities and advances a more resilient food system for future generations.
