ADM Expands Hungary Customer Creation and Innovation Center to Support Beverage Development Across Eastern Europe

2026/6/23

Enhanced application capabilities will accelerate beverage development and support growing demand for functional, low-sugar and premium drink solutions across the region.

Rolle – ADM (NYSE: ADM), a global leader in innovative solutions from nature, today announced the expansion of its Customer Creation and Innovation Center (CCIC) lab in Hungary, strengthening its ability to deliver tailored beverage solutions for customers across Eastern Europe.

Now doubled in size, the expanded facility adds enhanced application resources and broadens ADM's regional capabilities, enabling customers to accelerate the development of on-trend beverage concepts ranging from ready-to-drink products and coffee beverages to functional and wellness-focused drinks.

The expansion comes as consumer demand for functional, low-sugar beverages continues to rise. Industry forecasts project the non-alcoholic beverage segment in Hungary, valued at US$3 billion in 2025, will grow at an annual rate of 3.5% through 2030, with foodservice segments experiencing particularly robust momentum. 1By investing in its Hungary facility, ADM is well-positioned to help customers respond to these trends through localized expertise, technical support and faster product development cycles.

"This investment reflects our commitment to helping customers innovate quicker by combining local expertise with ADM's global flavor capabilities," said Alexander Lichter, VP, Flavors EMEA. "The expanded facility will enable us to develop customized solutions that help beverage and foodservice brands meet growing consumer demand for great taste, convenience and better-for-you products."

The expansion also builds upon the recent launch of LaSavista®, ADM's foodservice brand, which offers complete ingredient systems and tailored concepts for coffee, tea and other beverage applications. Alongside ADM's acquisition of Fuerst Day Lawson Limited (FDL) in the United Kingdom and the opening of a new flavor creation lab in South Africa, the strategic investment in the Hungary facility further strengthens ADM's global flavor network. Together, these developments reinforce ADM's position as a leading partner for beverage innovation, combining localized expertise with global capabilities.
