ADM has developed verified traceability, monitoring and supplier engagement processes for all our priority commodities and sourcing regions with the greatest risk. Given the nature of farming, ensuring these supply chains remain deforestation-free requires continuous oversight. In 2023, ADM engaged an independent group of experts to assess the potential climate impacts of deforestation and conversion of primary native vegetation in South America.

Our policies and programs aim to reduce adverse impacts but may not prevent all harm. If we cause or contribute to negative impacts, we are committed to providing access to remedy. Concerns can be reported through the ADM Way Helpline.
