ADM Invested $207,000 to Support Community Efforts in Quincy

QUINCY, Illinois, Feb. 20, 2015 – During 2014, Archer Daniels Midland Company (NYSE: ADM) and Stratas Foods LLC, a joint venture between ADM and ACH Food Companies, contributed grants totaling more than $207,000 to more than 49 Quincy and surrounding community organizations and programs.“ADM has over 500 employees in Quincy, and we want to do our part to help ensure Quincy and the surrounding communities remain a great place to live and work,” said Jennifer Jenkins, human resources manager for ADM in Quincy.

The grants were given through ADM Cares and Stratas Serves. ADM Cares is a social investment program that directs funds to initiatives and organizations that drive meaningful social, economic and environmental progress worldwide. The program comprises three distinct focus areas: supporting the responsible development of agriculture, improving the quality of life in ADM communities and fostering employee giving and volunteer activities. Stratas Serves is a community support program that focuses on eliminating hunger, building healthy and safe communities and promoting education to school age children.

About ADM in Quincy

In the Quincy area, ADM has six locations and employs more than 500 people. ADM Alliance Nutrition, a wholly owned subsidiary of ADM and a leading producer of livestock feeds and supplements, is based in Quincy. In Quincy, ADM processes a variety of oils at its refinery located on the Mississippi River and various commodities at its Quincy extraction plant. ADM also transports commodities by truck, rail and barge out of its Quincy locations. Stratas Foods LLC, the leading supplier of fats and oils to the Foodservice, Food Ingredients and Retail Private Label markets in North America, has a production facility in Quincy.
