ADM Advances Nature's Gold™ Regenerative Flour Programme with Segregated Supply Chain
2026-09-30
Enhanced farm to mill traceability brings greater visibility to the journey behind every loaf.
Rolle – ADM (NYSE: ADM) a global leader in innovative solutions from nature, today announced the next phase of its Nature's Gold™ regeneratively sourced flour offering, as part of the company's commitment to the regenerative agriculture value chain, designed to improve soil health, biodiversity and long-term farm resilience.
Building on the successful launch of Nature's Gold™ Baker's Bread Flour and ADM's re:generations™ programme in the UK, the addition of a segregated supply chain option provides greater traceability and transparency from farm to mill, while continuing to deliver the consistent quality and performance customers rely on. By working directly with participating growers and managing the journey of regenerative wheat through its supply chain, ADM is able to provide customers with greater visibility into the provenance of the flour they purchase.
The transition has been designed to make more sustainable choices easier for independent and craft bakers, many of whom are looking for simple, credible ways to respond to increasing consumer interest in how food is produced and sourced.
"Since launching Nature's Gold™, we've seen strong engagement from both growers and customers who want to play a role in supporting regenerative agriculture," said Ashley Fuller, Managing Director, ADM Milling UK. "Moving from a Mass Balance to a segregated supply chain is the natural next step in that journey. It strengthens the integrity and traceability of our proposition while maintaining the reliable flour performance our customers depend on every day. It also gives customers greater visibility into the supply chain behind the flour, from the farmers growing the wheat through to the finished product."
Nature's Gold™ flour is produced from wheat grown by UK farmers participating in ADM's regenerations™ programme, which supports the adoption of regenerative farming practices. Through the new segregated model, regenerative wheat is physically separated as it moves through the supply chain, strengthening the connection between growers, grain origination and flour production. This provides customers with enhanced confidence in the provenance of the flour they purchase and greater transparency into its journey from farm to mill.
"What makes Nature's Gold™ distinctive is ADM's ability to connect every stage of the journey, from growers adopting regenerative practices through to milling and the final customer," said Jonathan Lane, Managing Director, ADM Agriculture. "By working directly with farmers and managing the movement of grain through our network, we can provide greater visibility into where the wheat comes from and how it is produced. This strengthens the connection between farm and customer, while helping ensure the value created through regenerative farming remains linked to the end market."
The move represents the next step in ADM's regenerative agriculture journey, strengthening the link between participating growers and the finished flour product. As part of the programme, ADM is also incorporating transportation using zero-tailpipe-emission electric heavy goods vehicles (eHGVs), between farm and mill.
"Independent bakers want products that perform consistently and allow them to tell an authentic story to their customers," Fuller added. "Nature's Gold™ continues to deliver both. The flour remains the same trusted product, but the journey from farm to mill is now even more transparent and differentiated."
Nature's Gold™ regeneratively sourced flour is available through ADM Milling's nationwide distribution network.
