A Week of Giving Back: ADM Colleagues take part in EMEA Volunteer Week 2024

From Monday, May 27, until Sunday, June 2, 880 ADM colleagues across 16 countries in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) took part in over 45 activities during EMEA Volunteer Week 2024, to give back to the local communities where ADM colleagues live and work.

The objectives for the week were for colleagues to participate in local actions to do good, and the network of Community Champions established at ADM sites across the region worked hard to organize volunteer events locally through ADM's employee giving platform, Alaya by Benevity.

Colleagues were encourage to find ways to give back during the week and to take advantage of the 'community day,' which is a day during the year available for volunteer actions.

A wide-range of volunteer activities took place from reviewing student's CVs online, to packing meals for those in need, planting trees, and helping in local food banks and soup kitchens. In total, over 1,138 volunteer hours were logged and all eligible volunteer hours are matched by a $10 donation to the organization volunteered with.

Thank you to all the Community Champions who organized activities and thank you to all those who volunteered during the week!"
