ADM advances sustainability and efficiency with strategic partnership with Wärtsilä Group
ADM, in collaboration with the Wärtsilä group, is taking an important step in modernizing its river operations by replacing the engines of two Naviera Chaco vessels in Paraguay. This project aims to increase productivity, safety and operational efficiency, while reinforcing our commitment to sustainability.
The installation of Wärtsilä 20 engines, known for their fuel flexibility and reliable performance, will allow for more efficient operations with a lower environmental impact. "These new engines will not only improve the efficiency of operations, but will also contribute to ADM's goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 25% by 2035," said Raul Valdez, Director of Logistics at Naviera Chaco.
ADM continues to invest in innovative solutions that help reduce the carbon footprint and promote more sustainable practices in the transport and logistics sector, reaffirming our leading role in developing solutions that positively impact communities and the environment.
"We are excited to move forward on the path to a greener and more efficient future," said Raul Valdez.
Innovation continues to be a key pillar for ADM, and we're excited for the greener, more efficient future we're helping to build.
