ADM Names Steven J. Cassady Vice President of Procurement

DECATUR, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Archer Daniels Midland Company (NYSE: ADM) today announced that it has named Steven J. Cassady, vice president, Procurement. In this newly created position, Cassady will oversee all ADM non-commodity purchasing functions and manage key supplier relationships. He will report to John Rice, executive vice president, Commercial and Production.

The knowledge and expertise he brings to ADM will be instrumental as we advance our procurement function.”

Most recently, Cassady was director of global procurement for Kohler Company. He has also held supply chain management positions for Lucent Technologies, and began his career as a senior project engineer with AT&T Corporation.

Cassady earned a Master of Business Administration in financial and international business from Columbia University, a master’s degree in industrial engineering from Purdue University and a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the University of Illinois.
