ADM Alliance Nutrition Announces Management Change

QUINCY, Ill., May 31, 2013 – ADM Alliance Nutrition, Inc. (ANI), a wholly owned subsidiary of Archer Daniels Midland Company (NYSE: ADM), has announced new management for its North American operations.Effective immediately, Chuck Loefer has been named vice president for Alliance Nutrition North America. Loefer was previously director, Premix and Pet Food. He will now be responsible for all ANI North American feed and premix business. He replaces Mike Manning, who had earlier announced his intention to retire.

Loefer will report to Mark Kolkhorst, ADM vice president and president of ADM Alliance Nutrition.

“Chuck has a deep background in the feed and animal nutrition industry, and his knowledge and dedication will help us continue to grow our business and deliver excellent products and service to our customers,” Kolkhorst said.

Manning will retire on June 14, 2013, after dedicating 37 years to the feed industry, with the last 15 years of service at ADM.

“Mike’s leadership and unique perspective will be missed, and we wish him the best as he begins this new chapter,” Kolkhorst added.
