4/24/2018

CHICAGO, April 24, 2018—Archer Daniels Midland Company (NYSE: ADM) Chief Compliance Officer Ben Bard has been named to Compliance Week’s Top Minds 2018.

Each year, Compliance Week highlights the best and brightest in the governance, risk, ethics, and compliance profession with the Top Minds award. The rigorous selection process takes into consideration experience in the field, overall professional stature and individual achievements, among other factors. Honorees, who come from a wide range of disciplines, exemplify four qualities: they are effective, collaborative, constructive and visionary.

“Since joining ADM in 2014, Ben has dramatically reshaped our compliance function, creating a world-class, agile, and pragmatic organization that works closely with our business teams to ensure we are upholding the highest standards of honesty and integrity,” said ADM Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary Cameron Findlay. “Ben and his team embody the characteristics that Compliance Week—and ADM—look for in compliance leaders. We are proud of him, and more importantly, we appreciate the great work he and his entire team are doing to ensure ADM gets the right results, the right way.”

In his four years at ADM, Bard has led efforts to map compliance aims to the company’s wider strategies, and worked to ensure that his team offers proactive, constructive solutions to help business leaders achieve their goals.
