ADM Cocoa Receives Supplier of the Year Award from Pepsico Mexico

Award recognizes ADM Cocoa for its excellent performance and significant contributionsROLLE, SWITZERLAND, June 5, 2013 – Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM) Cocoa earned PepsiCo Mexico’s 2012 Supplier of the Year award which acknowledges the company’s commitment to working closely with PepsiCo’s research and development teams to bring new products of consistent quality and supply to the market.

The award was presented by Pedro Padierna, president of PepsiCo Mexico, and the company’s global procurement officer, Grace Puma, during the annual Supplier Appreciation Event, held on April 2, 2013 in Mexico City, Mexico. The event was attended by nearly one hundred of PepsiCo Mexico’s leading suppliers.

Dina Davis, export sales manager at ADM Cocoa, received the award on behalf of the company. “It is a very proud moment for ADM Cocoa to be recognized for our services by a large company such as PepsiCo Mexico, after working and growing with them for the past 20 years,” said Davis. “We attribute this award to our responsiveness to new projects and our ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with procurement and R&D teams. We are eager to continue to foster our relationship with PepsiCo Mexico.”

ADM Cocoa along with its sales extension in Mexico, FX Morales y Asociados, have supplied PepsiCo Mexico, which includes brands such as Gamesa, Quaker and Sabritas, for over two decades with chocolate and compound chips, coatings and cocoa powders.
