ADM crushes, refines and processes linseed oil into more than 35 standard formulas and leverages our research and development team to develop custom cormulas for a wide range of applications.
- Coatings & Inks- A long-time industry stape, linseed oil's drying properties regularly outperform water-based products and are used in paints, inks, varnishes and wood sealers.
- Forest Products- In engineered wood products, linseed oil allows for a reduction in the amount of synthetic resins needed because of conjugation.
- Plastics- Linseed oils are used in the production of products such as medical IV bags.
- Cosmetics- The only commonly found plant source of Omega 3 Alpha Linoleic fatty acids, linseed oil us used in topical creams and moisturizers.
- Other- Caulks, adhesives and sealers, including concrete finishing and turbine sealers.
