The History of ADM WILD Europe
From the ingenuity of Rudolf Wild to today.
1931 - Foundation
With the objective of producing alcohol-free beverages using purely natural ingredients, Rudolf Wild founded the company Zick-Zack Werk Rudolf Wild in 1931 in Heidelberg.
1985 - Expansion
In 1985, the business was transferred to the company Rudolf Wild GmbH & Co. KG. Over the years, the company evolved into a leading producer of natural ingredients for the food and beverage industry across the globe.
2014 - Acquisition
In 2014, ADM expanded its food and ingredient offering with the acquisition of WILD Flavors GmbH, Switzerland (then parent company of Rudolf Wild GmbH & Co. KG). The acquisition marked the beginning of a series of strategic expansions for ADM across Europe, Middle East and Africa over the past decade.
Today, ADM is a global leader in human and animal nutrition and the world’s premier agricultural origination and processing company.
