ADM Animal Nutrition Commercial Sales Manager Serves as 2019 Indianapolis 500 "Milk Man"

As part of the longstanding "Milk Bottle Tradition," ADM Commercial Sales Manager and Indiana dairy farmer Andrew Kuehnert, was one of two dairy farmers selected by the American Dairy Association Indiana (ADAI) to present a bottle of milk to the winning driver of this year's 103rd Indianapolis 500 race.

This highly visible position gave Kuehnert, a 10-year employee of ADM and fifth-generation dairy farmer, an opportunity to serve as a spokesperson for dairy farmers nationwide, spreading his message of dairy pride and recognizing the role dairy farmers play in helping to feed the world.

"I have always been passionate about the dairy industry and what dairy farmers do," Kuehnert said. "Having the opportunity to be the 'Milk Man' and have the Indianapolis 500 as a platform to share those messages has been a true honor."

Kuehnert has been a life-long dairy farmer and co-operates his family's dairy farm in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He turned his love for animals and passion for agriculture into a career as a dairy specialist for ADM's Animal Nutrition division in 2009. Today, Kuehnert is a Commercial Sales Manager working with local producers across Indiana, Ohio and Michigan.
