ADM’s Newest Creations Take Foods and Beverages to the Next Level

HEIDELBERG-EPPELHEIM, October 29, 2019 — At this year’s Gulfood Manufacturing in Dubai, Archer Daniels Midland Company (NYSE: ADM) will present its latest innovations to help Middle Eastern manufacturers meet consumers’ demands. ADM will showcase beverage category fusions and innovative food solutions including dairy foods. Many of these innovations include sweetening solutions with particular regard to sugar replacement.

Taking categories to the next level: ADM brings two popular and successful beverages together - malt and cola. Isotonic Malt-Cola offers a brand new taste experience to Middle Eastern consumers, and adds a functional benefit thanks to its isotonic effect. Furthermore, ADM will showcase new beverage creations that combine milk and juice with popular regional flavors such as orange-passionfruit. For the energy drinks category, ADM drives consumer excitement with flavor combinations such as maca with slightly nutty nuances or moringa extract, offering a fresh and slightly spicy flavor. These flavors harmonize well and allow manufacturers to introduce variety and novelty in the market.

ADM also places emphasis on new flavor combinations for juices and smoothies by presenting its new range of pure smoothies available in various bright colors of the rainbow: the yellow version includes curcuma extract; the orange, ginger extract; the red, cinnamon extract; and the green, peppermint extract.

New spoonable dairy concepts are also in store. ADM will present tasty fruit & veggie combinations like mango-zucchini-lime as well as panna cotta-type concepts with indulgent protein power in blueberry or strawberry flavor. These new taste combinations provide exciting alternatives to current products.

ADM will also showcase new solutions adapted to region. Its wide range of ingredients for nearly all food categories includes coloring foodstuffs, colors from natural sources, proteins and lecithin, as well as Fresh Up, which can especially be used for improving the natural texture of baked goods.

In the Middle East, great emphasis is placed on products without sugar and sweeteners. ADM’s various sweetening solutions address this demand while at the same time featuring perfectly balanced, sweet taste profiles that meet consumers’ high expectations.
