Modified Tapioca Starches

Our modified tapioca starches are non-GMO, non-grain and offer high-performance functionality, while delivering excellent texture and mouthfeel throughout heat, pH and shear ranges. They also offer superior stability throughout a product’s shelf-life and are a cost-effective texturizer compared with various gums. Cook-up and pregel options are available. Tapioca Maltodextrins and Syrup Solids

ADM's tapioca maltodextrins and syrup solids are highly versatile taste-neutral ingredients that provide functionality, adding bulk and body, providing humectancy and adhesion and preventing sugar crystallization, while improving mouthfeel and leaving flavors entirely intact. They control the melting point and enhance protein dispersibility, with organic and non-organic options available.

Modified Wheat Starches

ADM’s modified wheat starches are flavor-neutral and won't interfere with your finished product's taste. They improve texture and tenderness in a variety of applications where delicate texture, flavor and light color are important, and they function as thickeners, extenders, emulsion stabilizers and ingredient carriers in cakes, pastas, noodles, pie fillings, soups, sauces, gravies, cereals, coatings, breadings, bakery and batter mixes, dustings, canned foods, candies and convenience foods.
