About ADM Romania
ADM Romania is one of the largest traders of grains and oilseeds in Romania and the Danube region. It operates a network of seven silos along the Romanian section of the Danube, a fleet of barges and one of the largest terminals in the Port of Constanta. ADM Romania's team consists of close to 400 employees.
ADM Romania was established in 2002 and gradually strengthened its position on the Romanian market by acquiring local operators, such as Alfred C. Toepfer International, Cerealcom Giurgiu and North Star Shipping Romania. ADM Romania is part of ADM, one of the world's leading agricultural supply chain managers and processors, providing food security by connecting local needs with global capabilities. ADM is a significant provider of human and animal nutrition and offers one of the industry's largest portfolios of ingredients and solutions from nature.

About ADM Romania Logistics Project
The upgrade project initiated by ADM Romania Logistics in 2023 is aimed at developing the operating capacity in the Port of Constanta. Streamlining and increasing the effectiveness of the terminal operations will extend the grain loading and unloading capabilities in the context of additional commodity flows from Ukraine. Sixteen pieces of cutting-edge grain handling equipment will be installed in the Constanța terminal, boosting productivity and reducing ship loading time, while ADM's operation rate will be increased by approximately 73 tones per hour.
The project's total budget is around EUR 1.5 million, VAT not included, and is expected to complete in December 2024.

Bucharest, February 2024 - ADM Romania Logistics officially commenced a major project to upgrade its superstructure in the Port of Constanta with the aim to increase its grain handling capacity and to streamline its port operations.
This project is aimed at replacing 16 pieces of grain handling equipment with new and more efficient ones, which will boost productivity and reduce ship loading times in the port. After the project is completed, the maximum ship loading capacity is expected to increase by approximately 73 tones per hour.
The project is co-financed by the European Union through the Transport Program's Cohesion Fund, Priority: 7 Development of naval and multimodal transport, Specific goal: 3.1. Developing a TEN-T network that is resilient to climate change, smart, secure, sustainable and intermodal.
Bucharest, May 2024 - ADM Romania Logistics signed the procurement contract for 16 pieces of grain handling equipment aimed at streamlining and increasing the effectiveness of the operations in its terminal in the Port of Constanta. The chosen supplier following the selection process was Italy-based company AGI EMEA.
AGI EMEA will supply 16 pieces of state-of-the-art grain handling equipment, which will boost productivity and reduce ship loading times in ADM's terminal in the Port of Constanta, with a targeted operating rate increase by approximately 73 tones per hour.
AGI EMEA is an Italian company with more than 30 years of experience in manufacturing grain storage and handling equipment. It is one of the largest and most respected manufacturers in Europe, where it supplies all types of corrugated steel silos for commercial and agricultural applications.
Bucharest, August 2024 – The first batch of grain handling equipment manufactured by Italy-based company AGI EMEA, aimed at upgrading ADM's terminal in the Port of Constanta, have left for Romania.
In May 2024, ADM Romania Logistics and AGI EMEA signed an agreement for the supply of 16 state-of-the-art pieces of grain handling equipment. They will be deployed in ADM's silos in the Port of Constanta and will enable a significant reduction in the ship loading times in the ADM terminal, with a targeted operating rate increase by approximately 73 tones per hour.

Bucharest, September 2024 – ADM Romania Logistics announces that on August 8, 2024 it was completed the tender for the purchase of assembly services for the project meant to modernize the ADM Romania terminal in the Port of Constanța, the award being made on September 3, 2024.
The contract no. 96/27.09.2024 was signed by both parties and it is estimated that the works are estimated to start in the 4th week of October, 2024, when the first grain handling equipment are expected to arrive at the ADM Romania terminal in the Port of Constanța.

Bucharest, October 2024 – ADM Romania Logistics announces the first shipment of equipment intended for the modernization of the ADM Romania terminal arrived on Oct 7, 2024 in the Port of Constanța. The delivery of the equipment is scheduled to take place in four installments, with completion taking place on Nov 8, 2024. Equipment is supplied by AGI EMEA from Italy.

Developing a TEN-T network that is resilient to climate change, smart, secure, sustainable and intermodal, PT/153/PT_7/OP3/RSO3.1/PT_A16 – Deployment of an investment in the port superstructure aimed at mitigating the blockade in the Black Sea area arising from the armed conflict in Ukraine.
